The only thing better than the weather Memorial Day weekend, was the action at Auto City.  The two-day show included great racing on Saturday and “Maximum Destruction” on Sunday.{nl}     On Saturday night pace car sponsors were honored for the generous sponsorship of the Auto City Pace Car “Pace 1”.  Racing started with the Auto City Super Stocks when to action as Jeff Owens set fast time with a 15.56.  Lonnie Saumier, Jr. won the dash while Samuel Coulter took the victory in the heat race.  Owens jumped out in front to start the 40-lap feature.  But on lap 21 Eric Fetter got sideways coming out of turn 2 and Owens hit him broadside, taking the leader out of the race.  That gave the advantage to Pat Zorn who made the most of it, pulling away for his first ever ACSS feature win.  Kyle Hayden came from 8th starting spot to take second followed by Saumier, Dennis Rederstorf and Wayne Howe.{nl}
