MOD MADNESS JUNE 27

Travis Eddy Wins at Mod Madness{nl}It was Mod Madness at Auto City on Saturday, June 27th as the USA Mods and the VROA Mods were in action presented by DART.  The racing was exciting as even the spectators got in on the action.     Travis Eddy had fast time for the USA Mods with a 16.21.  Brad Springer won the dash and Nick Clemons took the heat.  The local drivers dominated most of the racing in the USA Mods only Michigan appearance as Tony Brabbs took the early lead in the 50-lap main event.  Ten laps later Eddy took over the top spot and looked like had things under control.  Clemons worked his way passed Brabbs as the caution flag came out with 5 laps to go.  But Eddy was not to be denied as he hung for the win.  Clemons stayed ahead of Brabbs for second while Mike Luberda, Jr. and Brian Nester rounded out the top 5.
